Baycox 2.5% is an oral anticoccidial water treatment containing Toltrazuril. Formulated for administration via drinking water, it targets all intracellular development stages of Eimeria species in poultry without interfering with the development of natural immunity. It is supplied in a 1-liter plastic bottle.

Indications

Treatment and control of coccidiosis in broilers, broiler breeders, replacement pullets, and turkeys caused by Eimeria species:
-
Chickens: Eimeria acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. necatrix, E. tenella, E. mivati.

Turkeys: Eimeria adenoeides, E. meleagrimitis.

Dosing & Administration
Route of Administration: Oral, dissolved in drinking water.

Standard Target Dose Rate: 7 mg Toltrazuril per kg body mass per day, administered for 2 consecutive days.

Water Volume Calculation:

Continuous 24-Hour Treatment (over 2 days): Mix 1 mL per 1 Liter of drinking water (25 ppm).

8-Hour Treatment per Day (over 2 days): Mix 3 mL per 1 Liter of drinking water (75 ppm) to be consumed within an 8-hour period daily.

Preparation & Usage Rules:

Ensure medicated water is the sole source of drinking water during the dosage period.

Prepare fresh solutions daily. If using automatic water proportioners, verify equipment compatibility with alkaline solutions.
Precautions & Withdrawal Periods

Withdrawal Period: Follow local statutory slaughter withdrawal periods for poultry meat prior to marketing.

Egg Laying Restriction: Do not use in replacement pullets after 16 weeks of age or in laying birds producing eggs for human consumption.

Store below 30°C in a dry place protected from direct sunlight.
