Baycox Oral 5% Suspension for Piglets & Cattle

Baycox Oral 5% is an oral suspension containing Toltrazuril (50 mg/mL) designed for the prevention and treatment of clinical coccidiosis in suckling piglets, young calves, and lambs. It acts against all intracellular stages of Isospora and Eimeria species, preventing intestinal damage and diarrhea before clinical signs fully establish.

Active Ingredients

• Toltrazuril: 50 mg/mL (5.0% w/v)

Indications

• Piglets: Prevention of clinical signs of coccidiosis in neonatal piglets (Isospora suis) on farms with a confirmed history of coccidiosis.

• Calves: Prevention and control of clinical signs of coccidiosis (Eimeria bovis, Eimeria zuernii) in housed or pastured calves.

• Lambs: Prevention of clinical signs of coccidiosis (Eimeria crandallis, Eimeria ovinoidalis) in young lambs.

Dosing & Administration

Route of Administration: Individual oral administration using an appropriate drenching gun or oral applicator. Shake container well before use.

• Piglets (3 to 5 days of age): Single oral dose of 0.4 mL per kg body mass (equivalent to 20 mg Toltrazuril/kg).

• Calves (under 9 months): Single oral dose of 3.0 mL per 10 kg body mass (equivalent to 15 mg Toltrazuril/kg).

• Lambs: Single oral dose of 0.4 mL per kg body mass (equivalent to 20 mg Toltrazuril/kg).

Precautions & Withdrawal Periods

• Shake well before use.

• Withdrawal Periods: Follow local statutory meat withdrawal guidelines prior to slaughter.

• Do not use in animals producing milk for human consumption.

• Store below 30°C in a dry place protected from direct sunlight.

• Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and non-target animals.
