Bravecto Spot-On Flea & Tick Treatment for Cats

Bravecto Spot-On is a systemic, long-acting topical acaricide and insecticide containing Fluralaner. Delivered via a single twist-and-use pipette, a single dose provides up to 12 weeks of continuous protection against fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Ixodes ricinus), as well as treatment for ear mite infestations (Otodectes cynotis).

Active Ingredients

• Fluralaner: 280 mg/mL

Indications

• Immediate and persistent killing activity against fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) for 12 weeks.

• Immediate and persistent killing activity against ticks (Ixodes ricinus) for 12 weeks.

• Treatment and control of ear mite infestations (Otodectes cynotis).

• Adjunctive treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).

Dosing & Administration

Route of Administration: Topical / Spot-on application directly to the skin.

Dosage Table:

Dosed to achieve a minimum of 40 to 94 mg Fluralaner per kg body weight.

For cats exceeding 12.5 kg, use an appropriate combination of two pipettes matching total body weight.

Application Method:

1. Open sachet and remove pipette immediately before use.

2. Hold pipette upright and twist the cap one full turn (cap remains attached).

3. Part the fur on the back of the cat's neck at the base of the skull until skin is visible.

4. Apply the entire contents directly onto the skin.

   • For cats up to 6.25 kg: Apply in a single spot at the base of the skull.

   • For cats over 6.25 kg: Apply in two spots along the base of the skull/neck.

Precautions & Contraindications

• Age & Mass Limits: Do not use on kittens under 9 weeks of age or weighing less than 1.2 kg.

• Do not apply directly to broken skin or skin lesions.

• Prevent treated animals from grooming each other until the application site has fully dried.

• For external topical use only; do not administer orally.

• Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep in original packaging until ready to use.

• Keep out of reach of children and non-target animals.
